
Bacteria and their effects on teeth.
Babies are not born with the bacteria that cause tooth decay or gum disease. These bacteria are transmitted to them by their parents, usually the mother. There is a common practice that we changed to reduce the risk of transmission. The routine is:
-Check the temperature of baby food tasting, or check your hand ion
Cleaning your baby’s pacifier by mouth
Clean up around the baby’s mouth with her saliva
-Kiss the baby directly into the mouth
Rental baby toothbrush to contact a toothbrush adult
If the mother has a high rate of tooth decay or gum disease, it must be a shock therapy before delivery and after delivery, they must reduce the bacterial flora. Bacteria associated with gum disease can cause premature birth or babies with low birth weight.
